To use the Gmail shortcut Select read conversations, first, you need to enable keyboard shortcuts in Gmail. Here’s how:

1. Open your Gmail account in your web browser.
2. Click on the gear icon in the top right corner and select “See all settings.”
3. Go to the “General” tab.
4. Scroll down to the “Keyboard shortcuts” section.
5. Click on the radio button next to “Keyboard shortcuts on” to enable keyboard shortcuts.
6. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Save Changes.”

Now that you have enabled keyboard shortcuts, here’s how you can use the Select read conversations shortcut:

1. Open your Gmail account in your web browser.
2. Press the letter “x” on your keyboard to select the current conversation.
3. Press “Shift” + “i” to mark the selected conversation as read.
4. Press “j” or “k” to navigate to the next or previous conversation.
5. Press “x” again to select the next conversation.
6. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to mark more conversations as read.
