This shortcut cycles focus through the side panel apps, Calendar, Keep, and Tasks, that sit to the right of your inbox. It lets you reach your calendar or a note without leaving Gmail or hunting for the icons.

Using the Gmail shortcut Sidebar: Switch Calendar/Keep/Tasks is a quick and convenient way to switch between your calendar, Keep notes, and tasks within Gmail. Follow these steps to enable keyboard shortcuts in Gmail and then use the specific shortcut to switch between Calendar, Keep, and Tasks.

1. Open your Gmail account in a web browser and log in with your credentials.
2. Click on the gear icon in the top right corner of the screen and select “See all settings” from the dropdown menu.
3. In the Settings menu, go to the “General” tab.
4. Scroll down until you find the section labeled “Keyboard shortcuts.”
5. Make sure the option for keyboard shortcuts is set to “Keyboard shortcuts on.”
6. Scroll to the bottom of the Settings page and click on the “Save Changes” button to apply the keyboard shortcut settings.

Now that you have enabled keyboard shortcuts in Gmail, you can use the Sidebar: Switch Calendar/Keep/Tasks shortcut to quickly switch between your calendar, Keep notes, and tasks.

1. Press the “Shift” key + “?” on your keyboard to bring up the list of Gmail keyboard shortcuts.
2. Find the shortcut labeled “Sidebar: Switch Calendar/Keep/Tasks” in the list.
3. Press the corresponding key (in most cases, it will be “c”) to switch to your calendar, Keep notes, or tasks.
4. To switch back to your Gmail inbox, simply press the “i” key.
